This summer, a photo exhibition and documentary screening will follow at the Hungarian House of Photography, Budapest. ‘BOI’ the documentary was nominated for the Prix Europa 2016 – best tv documentary, and the TIFF best international documentary award.

Anne Marie was one of the first camerawomen in the Netherlands, working for various directors. The films made by Anne Marie as director, women play a vital key role. In her last documentary BOI, song of a wanderer however the story takes a surprising turn: Nitzan, the main character in BOI, feels neither a woman nor a man.

All of her films were broadcasted by IKON Holland Doc/VPRO/BOS. Her work Carnavalsvrouwen [Ladies of Carnival]  a classic film you can say because it was broacasted 7 time's. And it had more than 240.000 vieuwers when first broadcasted. BOI, song of a wanderer was broadcast by BOS/NPO2
