Anne Marie Borsboom has singlehandedly produced, directed, and edited a number of movies and documentaries that have been screened on television and at numerous international film festivals, including: Tempted, All Quiet, Carnavalsvrouwen, and Heimwee. Her last ﬁlm is the 12-year project ‘BOI’ that took her from Tel Aviv to Tokyo, New York, and back to Amsterdam. ‘BOI’ the book sold in New York, London, Tokyo, and Paris, and resulted in a photo exhibition in Foam Amsterdam. This summer, a photo exhibition and documentary screening will follow at the Hungarian House of Photography, Budapest. ‘BOI’ the documentary was nominated for the Prix Europa 2016 – best tv documentary, and the TIFF best international documentary award.
Iris Weges is a writer specialized in power dynamics and gender inequality. She published for Dutch platform OneWorld and feminist magazine LOVER as well as for companies and a number of international development platforms, including UNWomen. Weges worked in international development for different organizations across five continents, rolling out communication- and marketing campaigns and carrying out research with indigenous or local communities. Throughout the years she developed a fond love for innovative, creative projects in philanthropy and international development.
